TEST PATTERN
basically there were two part. each part is for 1.30 hours so totally the test is for three hour.
Part1: (Time duration: 1:30 hrs)

(Tips: be prepared with some questions from computer communication network, LINUX and then Microprocessors)

Mobility is the key
In the field of mobile communications, India has witnessed a strong mobile subscriber growth in recent years. Market analysts forecast that the penetration of mobile subscribers will continue to grow considerably and reach 200 million by 2007. In India, Alcatel offers a complete range of products from GSM infrastructure equipment, mobile applications and services, covering the complete sector of mobile communications.
Alcatel is also providing solutions in the mobile applications area for a converged pre-paid/post paid services, which are scalable, feature rich and enables easy provisioning.
Alcatel has entered into the Indian GSM market in partnership with ITI and recently set up a GSM Base Station manufacturing plant at Mankapur in state of U.P with a present capacity of 2000 base stations per year, which is likely to double in the coming years .
In the transmission business, Alcatel has established over 7,600 route-kilometers of microwave links for various customers and holds a 29 percent market share in this segment. Alcatel is providing complete transmission infrastructure to TATAs for their existing 12 circles (Access Network). In addition, Alcatel is also giving Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd., the complete National Long Distance infrastructure based on Long Haul DWDM and High Capacity SDH networks. Also we have recently won a large expansion project with TATA, which is an extension of our network executed during the last one year.
Alcatel in India – inevitable!
Alcatel has emerged as the single largest supplier of digital switching in India with over 50% market share. Today, every second call in India is managed through an Alcatel switch! It also has 80% market share for ATM switches in carrier networks. Alcatel has implemented numerous data networks with voice & data multiplexers and digital cross connects for carriers and non-carrier customers.
Alcatel plays an important role in enabling its carrier customer to provide Intelligent Networks services through the IN platform. And is in the process of implementing a multimillion Euro order for Intelligent Networks solutions for BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd).
