Q1 Can anyone open their clinic even while doing a government job in AIIMS and can earn more than 500,000 rupees even during the government job? Can they do it?
Ans: No it's not allowed to do private practice while studying for postgraduation or holding a job like junior or senior resident or a faculty member. In UP doctors are holding government jobs using government equipment for treatment of their private patients without fear of authorities and malaise of 30 years plus cannot be rectified by new government in a day in a month or during few years of the rule. There's a threat of religious stampede and blackmailing by the doctors. Government jobs are paying enough. Why'd doctors get greedy for private practice. Do private practice openly, invest some money earn money and goodwill and doctors need no publicity. Well treated patients are the best publicity for freshers and learn from the exoeriences of patients who are better teachers than academic books. Make sure that it's a team work that involves the patients as one on one.
Q2 What will happen if we complete an MBBS from AIIMS and we don't want to do a government job?
Ans: With MBBS only no body gets decent income .One must go for PG.Only in Govt service MBBS doctors get post of Assistant Surgeon .
As regards practicing now a days people go to specialists only .One must have PG .The MBBS junior doctors as RMO in private hospitals get only Rs.10000 pm.
My daughter worked in few hospitals first ,then went for MD (Opthalmology ) and then Super speciality and getting several lacs .
My advice to those who want to choose medicine as career is that never stop with MBBS ,it has no scope ,go for PG and Super speciality
Mere MBBS may perhaps get good practice in rural areas.
Q3 After completing an MBBS from AIIMS, can I get a job in state run government hospitals without any extra interviews?
Ans: You can get a job at AIIMS itself without any interview whatsoever!
Any AIIMS, Delhi graduate is applicable to get a House Job/ be a Non academic JR for two terms of 6 months each. (So basically an year) And the salary is same as an Academic JR.(approximately ?70k per month)
Q4 Is there any possibility of getting a government job after completing a BAMS from AIIMS?
Ans: In AIIMS Or Any Hospital Of India Say It Is District Or PHCS There Is AYUSH Department That Recruiting BAMS Doctors As Duty Doctors ….
