Qualification

• Accountant A-1: A Degree in Commerce from a recognized Univety/equivalent qualification.
  
  (b) One year experience in accounts work in Govt/Semi-Govt or Commercial Organization of repute
• Instrument Mechanic A-2: Matriculation or equivalent pass from recognized Board/University (b) Certificate of Craftsmanship in the trade of Mechanic (Instrument) from an ITI of Central Government or equivalent
• Senior Mechanic A-3: Matriculation or equivalent pass from recognized Board, (b) Certificate in craftsmanship in the trade of Mechanic (IC Engine) or Mechanic (Motor) or Filler from ITI Central Government or equivalent (b) Three year practical experience in the trade.
  
  Essential (c) Three year experience in the trade Essential
• Machine Minder Litho (Offset) A-4: Matriculation or equivalent pass from recognized Board (b) Should Know: – Printing in colour with correct registration, setting of inking rollers, dampers, and pressures; making chemical for Litho Offset printing; to Operate Lillio/Offsel Machines, (c) One year experience in the trade

The College of Military Engineering (CME) at Pune, a premier tactical & Technical training institution is the alma mater of the Corps of Engineers. ‘First into the battle and last out of it’, the Corps of Engineers comprises of the Combat Engineers, Military Engineering Service, Border Roads Organisation and Survey. The College traces back its existence to the erstwhile School of Military Engineering (SME) established in 1943 at Roorkee. The set up moved to the present location at Pune in 1948. In view of the increased responsibilities and in keeping with the higher status of the Degree Engineering Courses being conducted by the School, it was re-designated as CME in Nov 1951.
