Ans: Yes, the NIOS certificate is considered for defence job.

Ans: Subscribe yourself to San crack, upsc and s.s.c jobs. The notification will come on their own and than you can apply accordingly.
Q4 Which defence job allows a person to live with his family in his whole tenure?
Ans: I am sure no defense job will allow you to stay with your family even for a short time because it is a job where there is a risk of loosing life and no defense force will invite a family to die at any moment. I know that even the US defence doesn't allow the family to stay with it's defense personals.
Q5 Which subject has more opportunity for becoming an IAS officer or going into a defence job at an officer post?
Ans: As far as Defence job is concerned where you want an officer rank, I think no optional subject is required to clear those exams like NDA, CDS, SSB etc. as per my knowledge..except general syllabus.
Now coming to the UPSC-CSE, according to the current pattern, there is one optional subject.
Each subject is unique in its own way. One can't classify it as best or the worst, which has more opportunity or less.
However, the best subject is that which you have keen interest in. That subject which you want to study till your last breathe. That subject which you want to live throughout your UPSC journey.
Then first of all, you must go through all the previous year question papers of that particular subject. If those questions are touching your heart or urges are coming from within you..then you must go for.
Secondly, the availability of standard material regarding the subject.
If it is coinciding with any of your general studies mains paper or essay paper..that will be browny cake for you.
So here are some of the subjects you can opt for CSE mains:
1.Geography ( the most popular, scientific, scoring, and easily understandable subject out of all)
2.History
3.Public administration
4.Political science and International relations
5.Sociology
6.Hindi literature
Q6 Why are banking jobs preferred over defence jobs in India nowadays?
Ans: Even though i think serving your country via defence forces is the best thing a citizen can dream of, honestly its not everyones cup of tea isn't it? Defence forces requires high level of physical and mental strength, their trainings are rigours, selection proceedure for officers of defence forces are considered one of the thoughest in the country, postings are mostly at places which are considered difficult. On the other hand banking sector has ample opportunity with new vacancies coming every year, posting at somewhat nearby places, decent salary and perks, comparatively less physical job mostly desk job, good for girls too as bank has policies for girl employees. So in the end instead of preference it became a game of possibility. Still people who dream of defence jobs from the begining chase that dream no mater what.
Q7 What are the defence jobs with qualification 10+2?
Ans: You can apply for following jobs after 12th science
1.10+2 tech entry of army
2.10+2 direct entry for officers in indian navy
3.Non tech entry in indian air force
4.Nda ( national defence academy) - clear the paper, then SSB
So, these are the entries after 12th science for defence jobs.
Q8 How can I improve my eyesight for defence jobs?
Ans: Many persons stuck in eyesight test after cracking exams.
But it can improve.
You can definitely improve your vision naturally. By using your own saliva
There are some methods:
1 you can take the risk of lasic surgery
2 you can use your own saliva
Believe me that's why animals start to lick their wounds after injury.
Q9 How can I complete my engineering studies if I got a defence job during my 2nd semester?
Ans: If you get a defence job in second year of engineering, then depend on you that you want to do study or do job. If you want to do job then Leave study but if you want to do study leave job.
Q10 How does a vocational student seek a defence job?
Ans: Join the military young man. Do well. Work hard. Speak up about the things you want to work on. Then after you get out, seek that job out in the defense industry. (And a little tip - poor spelling and grammar will always make people judge you. People cannot help it. They may even do it unconsciously. Pay attention to what and how you write).
Q11 I have a tattoo on my wrist, can I join defence jobs with tattoo?
Ans: All you gotta do is wear either A) A compression sleeve on the arm with the tattoo that covers the tattoo. B) A Long sleeve thermal or shirt always under your clothing. I work in the medical field and tattoos are always supposed to be covered and just like you I have one on my wrist and I use both of these depending on the time of the year.
Q12 I wear spectacles with a power of -6. Will I be eligible for any defence job?
Ans: Some Departments demand crystal clear eyes without specs but some allow like if you want to join Fighter Pilot in IAF than Spectacles are prohibited strictly but you can still apply for ground services in defence.
