Applications are invited from willing and eligible candidates for filling up the following posts for the year 2019-20 on deputation basis, in Kandla Special Economic Zone,Gandhidham Gujarat The description of the post(s) and eligiblity conditions are as follows:

2	Preventive Officer (Rs 9300-34800/-) Grade Pay Rs. 4600/ - equivalent to Level 7 of the pay Matrix under 7th CPC	5 (tentative) Posts	Officers of the Central Board of Excise and Customs: (a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or, (ii) with six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of (pay Band Rs 5200-20200 and Grade Pay Rs2800),Level-5 as per 7th CPC or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and (b) Possessing two years' experience in Excise or Custom procedural work.

1. The terms & conditions of deputation of Appraiser and Preventive Officer will be regulated in accordance with the instructions contained in Ministry of Finance OM No6/8/2009/Estt(Pay-II) dated:17/06/2010 as amended from time to time, to draw pay of the post held by them in the parent department plus deputation allowance in accordance with and subject to the conditions laid down in the Ministry of Personnel Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training O.
   
   MNo6/8/2009/Estt(Pay-II) dated 17/06/2010 as modified time to time and such other general or special orders issued by the Ministry of Finance Tenure of deputation normally is three (03) years as per DOPT's guidelines.
   
   
2. The officers selected will be entitled to transfer TA and joining time in accordance with the Rules of the Government of India, in force

(4)Names of officers who have worked in this zone or any other SEZs on deputation, earlier either as Preventive Officer or Appraiser/Superintendent (Prev) and have not completed cooling off period of 3 years, may not be recommended.

Also officers with Vigilance clearance and clean reputation may only be recommended

1. It is requested that the names of eligible and willing officers may be recommended in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-I given) along with:-

1. ACR grading for last five years duly attested by the competent authority,
2. Vigilance clearance certificate,
3. Integrity certificate,
4. Details of penalty if any imposed during last 10 years

1. In absence of these requirements application will not be entertained The last date of receipt of names of suitable officers is 60 days from the date of publication of the vacancy in the Employment News Applications received after the due date without the confidential Report and other necessary documents or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered.
