Tourist Guide job Position in Punjab Heritage & Tourism Promotion Board
Eligibility :
1 The candidate should be atleast graduate with Punjabi as one of the subject at Matric level
2 He should be less than 50 years of age
3.
(a) He should have passed atleast one Foreign Language course (Spanish, German, Chinese, French, Japanese) from any recognized institute; or (b) He should be studying the foreign language course in any recognized institutes
4 He should bee domicile of Punjab
The training MI be provided free of any cost in Amritsar Patiala or Chandigarh Selected candidates shall have to make their own arrangement for stay and travel for the training.
The training shall be of 400 hours The candidates having attendance of more than 80% shall only be allowed to take the test after completion of the training The successful candidates shall be awarded certificates

About Punjab Heritage Tourism Promotion Board
The Punjab Heritage & Tourism Promotion Board was set up vide Government of Punjab Notification No.12/108/2002-3TC/1490 dated 14-8-2002 and was subsequently registered as a Public Charitable Trust on 5-12-2002 through a Deed of Declaration. After having observed the working of the Board during the last five years the Government is of the view that certain amendments need to be made in the composition of the various organs of the Board and in the powers and functions assigned to them. It is also felt that the working of the Board needs to be regulated by framing By-laws.
