The Transition Lead role is primarily focused on strategic leading, monitoring and managing of multiple transitions to ensure successful Go Live and min BAU impact Ensure effective and efficient cooperation and communication between all stakeholders to transfer activities and knowledge between the Hubs This is a position with global grade09This position reports toFinance Delivery Lead (HUB)Your responsibilities

• Project leadership - helps define main guidelines, allocate project tasks, motivate and monitor internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones
• Provides performance feedback regarding plans and allocated resources working on projects
• Planning and scheduling - helps define, jointly with the PMO and key stakeholders, scope of work, resources required, time schedule, and detailed work allocation
• Develops, implements, and helps continuously improve standard processes, tools and ways of working by applying best practices to project environment and experience Actively contribute and support program co-ordination with other ABB projects where required
• Project execution and control - effectively organizes, monitors and controls activities to ensure achievement of planned stage-gates and efficient utilization of resources
• Project governance - ensures projects follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with standard ABB internal directives and procedures
• Project reviews - Ensures that timely and effective project review preparations and project reviews takes place
• Stakeholder relations - Serves as the key contact for the project stakeholders, and an escalation point for project issues Effectively communicates appropriate information to stakeholders in a timely manner and to achieve desired understanding and support
• Plan, project manage and execute the overall transition program
• Determine goals, milestones, timeframes, procedures and approach, transition resources for the transition program
• Overall transition management of existing processes between the Hubs.
  
  
• Work as part of the Central TMO with Transition Core Team (Delivery and Transition teams), Functional Entablements (IT, FTP, TA, WSL ARIC) and other relevant stakeholders in delivering the transition program
• Leading transition communication in entire programme - ensure effective communication between key stakeholders groups for each transition (Steering Committee, Hub Leads, Transition Team, Functional Entablements, Business)
• Transition Escalation point for all key stakeholders including Business (Country Finance Managers)
• Entire Ownership on Transition Plan metrics and reporting the progress as per the indicated schedule to the Steering Committee Proactively identify and monitor key risks and issues, propose and implement corrective actions Act as a point of escalation for all transition related matters in the programme
• Take actions to remove roadblocks met by the programme on the roadmap to complete the key transition deliverables.
  
  
• Ensure efficient and effective transition delivery and proper Transition Team Management
• Provide general transition and project management expertise and advice
• Review and approve transition outputs, including Stage Gates, sign-off the readiness to move to each Transition stages (can delegate to TM)
• Approves changes to the Integrated Transition Plan raised as part of the Change Control process

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Management
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position in an international shared services or outsourcing (SSC/BPO) environment, including 5 years People / stakeholder management and global initiatives leadership
• Fluent English - verbal and written
• Excellent knowledge and experience of project management and SSC/BPO related transitions
• Strong leadership skills and stakeholder management
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment and deliver within agreed deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability and confidence to operate at senior levels with internal and external stakeholders, issue and conflict management skills8+years of proven relevant experience
• Business operations experience and understanding of R2R, P2P and O2C activities (including Intercompany) ideal
• PMP / PRINCE certification a plus
