, will have a start and end date Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring managerIntroduction:This role holder will be expected: To be a point of technical and operational process expertise in relation to the management of the P2P system and operational processes that are managed by Procurement with the aim of delivering effective solutions in line with Barclays policy and compliance requirements .
To be the Subject Matter Expert and provide expert knowledge, training, support, mentoring for the operations team involved in day-to-day support To be accountable for education, awareness, training, and communication to all business areas utilising our systems To support the education, awareness, training, and communication on general aspects of our tools and processes .
To be accountable for the management and usability of the system to ensure effective and efficient delivery To drive best practice and continuous improvement through management of and engagement with third party suppliers (where required), internal service functions (Barclays Technology etc) and end users .
The Role is to support R2P activities in the Coupa workflow and related activities Individual needs to act as an SME on P2P processes/systems to proactively identify and resolve areas of weaknessWhat will you be doing PROCESS AND SYSTEM EXPERTISE Act as the subject matter expert guiding and assisting team that supports the Procurement solution deployed across Barclays Diagnose and solve complex queries requiring in-depth knowledge and understanding of Coupa, configuration and other technical nuances.
Work with IT teams to identify technical solutions/workaround as well as process changes that will help deliver user requirements and improve user experience Proactively follow up with IT support teams to ensure that requirements are being fulfilled and operational/service issues are being addressed efficiently and within agreed SLAs .
Manage the review and testing of scheduled system releases / updates from the system suppliers Identify & prioritise opportunities for improvement, managing actions to streamline the end to end process, making it more efficient and cost effective BUSINESS SUPPORT, TRAINING AND COMMUNICATION Champion and lead initiatives to improve process compliance and system usage across a range of stakeholder groups.
Understand the operational processes, controls and policies underpinning the use of the system, the system's business objectives, and opportunities for improvement Drive adoption and appropriate use of the system within the user community to maximise the benefit of the solution .
Support the sourcing champions and end users in their understanding and use of the system via agreed forums to drive consistency and best practice in use of the application Gather MI and feedback on system performance, its fit with business requirements, and compliance with relevant processes and procedures Own and be accountable for training, education, awareness and communication of P2P process and systems both for the Operational support team and for end users.
Manage the review of changes relating to a release by the suppliers and develop the impact assessment on the training materials Have eye to detail experience and understanding for managing business expectation Drive efficiencies and identify process improvements.
Own and acknowledge day to day assigned activities in a timely manner with agreed service levelPROJECT / CHANGE MANAGEMENT Participate or lead testing related to various Coupa Projects Coordinate effectively with other teams within Purchase to Pay including the Service Desk, Payments, Global Vendor Hub, Operations/Data management teams to gather feedback on requirements/proposed changes and provide advanced information/training etc with regards to changes, system releases etc Provide support to other testing teams related to other Procurement projects MANAGEMENT OF SELF .

Graduate in any discipline Minimum relevant years of experience in Procurement Knowledge of end-to-end P2P process Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and Power Point skills Ability to translate written instructions into action items .
Aptitude to work in a variable business environment, periodically requiring tight deadlines and aggressive turn-around times Self-motivated player able to define, structure and prioritise work for self, but also has the flexibility to change priorities as circumstances dictate Ability to assimilate new information and quickly adapt to new environment Ability to work with people in different geographies Demonstrate experience of workflow managementSkills that will help you in the role: .
