• Accountability for infrastructure solutions architecture for given projects, ensuring appropriate standards and processes are developed, established, and followed
• Leads the development of future state business area architectures in an organized and cohesive manner using enterprise architecture frameworks, working proactively to create business competitive advantage, focus on cost, and maximize design
• Leads business area architecture gap analysis including impact, ROI, time to benefit, alignment to strategic business needs, and road map to address expected changes
• Facilitates long term architecture planning to ensure alignment between business product roadmap, and the ETS roadmap
• Works closely with BU CIO teams to understand short and long term technical objectives including product initiatives, sales pipeline, and other areas which will impact portfolio delivery
• Ensures that designed or reviewed solutions conform to architectural requirements such as scalability, maintainability, reliability, extensibility, usability and security.
  
  
• Possesses the broad expertise to integrate the technical vision for IT, integrating across technologies, systems, and organizations
• Establishes the contribution that technology can make to business objectives, conducting feasibility studies, producing high-level business models, preparing business cases, considering any implications of systems considered
• Ensures compliance between business strategies, enterprise transformation activities, and technology directions, setting strategies, policies, standards and practices
• Establishes policy and strategy for the selection of systems architecture components and coordinating design activities, promoting the discipline to ensure consistency and that appropriate standards are adhered to
• Coordinates the identification and assessment of new and emerging hardware, software, products, methods, and techniques and evaluating likely relevance of these for the organization while providing regular briefings to staff and management.
  
  
• High degree of collaboration with infrastructure, development, and PMO teams to ensure tactical and strategic deliverables are met
• Development of architecture for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with internal customers
• Resolves challenges by analyzing issues, assisting the team to determine the most appropriate course of action, providing direction and, when necessary, reallocating resources
• Ability to communicate at multiple levels of the organization from BU CIOs to infrastructure engineers to PMO and all level in-between
• Exhibits strong leadership skills, forward thinking, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Facilitate project intake review and design solutions which meets published architecture standards
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to the deployment team for implementation of projects on time and on budget
• Serves as technical escalation point to remove roadblocks and facilitate issue/risk resolution to ensure all portfolio and project delivery targets are met
• Builds relationships and works closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions are technically sound, issues are identified and resolved, and projects are delivered with budget and on-time
• Work with the BU CIO team and PMO to facilitate estimation/proposal development, intake, portfolio prioritization, project selection and approval

Specific Requirements -

• 10+ years of overall IT / technical services experience with bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of Information Technology
• Capable of working in a growth-oriented environment, with ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent requests, projects, and responsibilities
• Proven track record of leveraging vendor and consultant expertise for IT project delivery and support.

• Leadership and Customer facing skills
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
• Experience with various middleware technologies and databases
• Infrastructure architecture experience ' Cloud, Hybrid and Private hosting
