From rail systems mobilizing accessible transit, to ports linking land and sea - when it comes to connecting the people and places of tomorrow, the future of transport depends on us Architects with excellent experience in design delivery of large-scale projects in the high-end residential and/or hospitality and Retail Dining and Entertainment (RDE) sector The incumbent will bring good exposure to all design stages from Concept Design to IFC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to coordinate across other design disciplines such as structures, MEP, landscape Ability to understand the complexity of working with multiple consultants on one project which involves complex coordination such as kitchen consultant, F&B consultant, SPA consultant, lighting consultant, branding consultant, signage and way finding, faade, swimming pool, landscape, water feature consultant etc.
- Experience and understanding of Master Specs in CSI will be advantageous
- Hands-on design and ability to deal with vendors and suppliers to look for the right technical solution will add value
- Experience in designing basements desirable
- Building codes: Should be experienced with international building codes such as NFPA, IBC etc, knowledge/expertise about Saudi building codes will be desired
- Certifications: RIBA or equivalent certification is desirable.
LEED certified candidates, or candidates who have worked towards LEED certification for any of their projects will also be preferred
#ASIAIS Here's What You'll Need:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture with experience ranging from 15+ years is preferred
- Candidates with Masters degree shall be an added advantage
- The incumbents will have persuasive communication and presentation skills along with a high level of proficiency in English
- They will be enthusiastic and passionate, eager to learn and go the extra mile for high quality delivery and technical excellence.
- They will be proactive and collaborative in their approach and can easily work being part of multi-cultural, multi-location teams
- Revit project setup and delivery experience (large scale projects with multiple stakeholders)
- Major design software applications including AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe and MS Office suites
- Leading a delivery team across multiple projects running concurrently Concept and Schematic through IFC stages
- Demonstrable experience in delivery of complex projects across residential/ luxury hospitality/ mixed use/ commercial uses
- Full knowledge of building codes and standards applicable locally and internationally
- Authority submissions
- Client presentations
- Design and delivery to budget
- Preparing and reviewing project specifications and reviewing itemized BOQ
Software skills: The incumbent will demonstrate quick learning abilities and continuously develop their technical skillsets in the future
