Job Description Role : Technical Chief Architect Location : Pune / Bangalore Who are we looking for A very senior level Architect for a critical engineering program for one of our biggest clients The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications This role needs a dynamic, technology savvy person with strong consultation flavor Technical Skills: 20+ years of experience in IT Industry, specifically as Architect covering VMware, Windows / Linux, Active Directory, Storage, Backup, Middleware and Database technologies .

Responsible for design, installation, configuration, security, and maintenance of highly available enterprise systems Must have enough expertise in core Data Centre Services skills (eg Wintel Platform, Unix, Storage, Networking, Hardware etc) .

Adept in working with independently with client SME's in exploring, performing POC and implementing new solutions Capable of building & providing impromptu technical solution to client Ability to perform consultative role for new work to identify billable work opportunities and provide appropriate estimation/proposals to requestor Ability to develop architectural blueprints, roadmap, strategy documents against transformational requirements such as DC Movement, DC consolidation Perform environmental analysis on quarterly/monthly basis to identify architectural improvement opportunities .

Work on complex/long running issues or project as per need Work with practice teams for capability building, pre-sales support for new opportunities Evaluate and recommend specific products and platforms to provide cost effective solutions that meet architectural requirements Ability to create, Contribute and Implements the best practices Hands-on experience on assessment of environment .

Detailed expertise in common infra Activities (ie Patch Mgt, Migrations, Upgrades, Assessments etc.

) Knowledge and understanding of global security policies Coordinate deployment of network security infrastructure with other members of IT organization .

Work on Service Improvement Plan and Innovations Experience on tools like Chef, Ansible etc will be an added advantage Working Experience in AWS, Azure or GCP is preferred Active directory integration with windows filesystem and security management of windows filesystems .

Exposure to Storage and Backup technologies (Dell EMC Vmax, PowerMax, Dell Unity etc Backup - Netbackup and DataDomain) Implementation and Administration of Storage systems in Windows and Linux NAS administration skills Experience in Local and Remote replication in Windows filesystem storage environment .

Exposure to Middleware technologies (WAS, WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache, Kafka and Redis) and Database technologies (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MongoDB PostgreSQL) Extensive experience in performance DB / MW tuning, high availability configuration, Cluster setup etc Process Skills: Should have led at least 2-3 large transformational projects as technology architect .

Acted as technology SME in one or more above Data Center technologies for 4 - 5 years Performed consultative engagements independently like environmental assessments/estate wide remediation plan Has exposure to pre-sales support and capability building activities Has worked in Matrix role with an ability to work independently with multiple managers with dotted line hierarchies Act as technical Architect for client and internal teams .

Grooming of team members on various aspects of technology and client requirement Keeping abreast of industry trends, technology innovation, and changing customer requirements to help with the continual service improvement process Ensure that excellent customer service is being provided to project teams on a consistent basis Behavioral Skills : .

Effective interpersonal, team building and communication skills Certification: Desired Candidate Profile Industry IT-Hardware & Networking Qualification B E / B Tech in Electronics/Telecommunications computer science or equivalent degree in IT related field .
