Qualification:Must Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering, awarded by any University recognized by the University Grants Commission.
or A pass in section A and B Examination(AMIE) in Civil Engineering Branch conducted by the Institution of Engineers(India) and practical training in surveying for a period of not less than one year
9 Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Maritime Board) in Port Service Must possess /2 (2010 & 2017)
Qualification: BE Degree in Civil Engineering.
(or) Must have obtained a pass in section A & B of the Institution of Examination, with an experience of not less than 3 years after passing the above examination*
10 Junior Architect /15 (2012-2019)
Qualification: A degree in Architecture of any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission Or A diploma in Architecture awarded by JJ School of Arts, Bombay or By the Government of Maharashtra.
Age: 30 Years
Note: i) The qualification prescribed for these posts should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the order of studies, viz, 10th + HSC or its equivalent +Bachelor‟s Degree (+PG Degree ) from the recognised Institutions as required under Section 25 of Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 (Results of the examination should have been declared and practical Training if any should have been acquired on or before the date of notification)

Selection Procedure: Selection will be made in two successive stages ie, (i) Written Examination and (ii) Oral Test in the shape of an interview The final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants at the written examination and oral test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments.
