Qualification:
(i) A degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology of any recognised University or Institution under the purview of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) AND
(ii) Practical experience in a workshop or factory for a period of not less than three years
Pay Scale: Rs56100 -177500 (Level 22) as per the Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Rules, 2017
Assistant Engineer (Industries)(Post Code No 1900) (2013-2014 & 2018-2019) Noof Posts: 32
Qualification: (i) Must possess a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree of any discipline except Civil Engineering and Architectural Engineering of any University recognized by the University Grants Commission or Institution recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education.
AND
(ii) Practical experience in General purpose Engineering Workshop or in an Engineering Industry or in a recognized concern for a period of not less than six months (OR) Practical experience in a supervisory or operative capacity connected with production of goods or material or operation and maintenance of machinery and equipments in a recognized concern for a period of not less than six months
Pay Scale: Rs37700 - 119500 (Level 20) as per Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Rules 2017
AGE LIMIT (as on 01072018) : 24-30 yrs
Note: The qualification prescribed for the posts should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the following order of studies: 10th + HSC or its equivalent + Bachelor’s degree.

Selection Procedure:Selection will be made in two successive stages viz.
, (i) Written Examination and (ii) Oral Test in the shape of an interview Final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants in the written examination and oral test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments Applicant’s appearance in the written examination and oral test is compulsory
