1 Educational Qualification: (i) a post graduate degree in Geology or applied Geology or Geological Science or Geology Exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Marine Geology or Earth Science and Resource Management or Petroleum Geosciences or Petroleum Exploration or Geochemistry or Geological Technology or Geophysical Technology with minimum 55% Marks obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such as declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956

Experience (i) have about three years experience on the post not below the rank of Mines Supervisor, Class III in the subordinate service of the Commissionerate of Geology and Mining, Gujarat State or (ii) have about three years experience in the field of mining or mineral administration or mineral legislation or mineral exploration in Government or Government undertakings Board Corporation or Limited Company established by Law in India or Mining Organization on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Mining Supervisor, Class-III in the subordinate service of the Commissionerate of Geology and Mining, Gujarat State

3 Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967 possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both Pay Band- RS 9300-34800/- Grade Pay-RS.
