Assistant Manager Accounts Payable Job In Atkins In Bengaluru / Bangalore, India

• Lead the Accounts Payable function, managing all matters relating to suppliers' invoices including, but not limited to, suppliers' registration, documentation, invoice processing, payments (suppliers, taxes, related parties etc), supplier queries, suppliers tax deductions etc
• Act as the primary finance contact and the point of escalation for Accounts Payable activities
• Manage timing of supplier payments, with particular importance to back-to-back suppliers and other critical services suppliers
• Assist the Treasury team with preparation of both short and medium range cash forecasts
• Work with the Tax Team to ensure all compliance documentation is in place and maintained as it relates to Accounts Payable function (tax invoices, credit notes, WHT deductions etc).
  
  
• Creation of bespoke reports and summarises to present or analyse supplier invoices and payments data and trends
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures of SNC-Lavalin group and use of best accounting practices
• Assist Finance Operations team in the ME&A with, and providing samples to, internal and external auditors and tax inspectors
• Manage team members ensuring their career development and coaching
• Provide support to relevant business and ERP improvement projects.
  
  
• Support the Head of Finance Operations on ad-hoc initiatives and analysis
• Develop strong working relationships with team members and other key stakeholders
