State Eligibility Test (Assistant Professor) Job Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh PSC

Eligibility : Master Degree in related subject with minimum 55% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates: 50% marks Final year appearing candidate also eligible

Application Fee : Application fee is Rs 600/- for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and Rs 1200/- for others.

Application fee is to be paid only through online mode

Selection Process : The MP SET 2018 exam will have two papers Paper I is compulsory and will cover topics such as general awareness, teaching and research aptitude There will be 50 objective type questions The duration of paper one will be 60 minutes.

Paper II will be subject specific and will have 100 objective type questions and each question will carry 2 marks The duration will be 120 minutes The MP SET 2018 exam will be held for 19 different subjects

Consequent on the reorganization of States on 1st November 1956, eight districts of Madhya Pradesh have been transferred to the Bombay State and the remaining fourteen districts of the Madhya Pradesh along with Madhya Bharat, Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh were merged to form the new Madhya Pradesh. As there was no Public Service Commission for the States of Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh, these being Part C States, and the recruitment for these States was being done by the Union Public Service Commission, the records of cases dealt with by the Union Public Service Commission for these two States were not available to the new Commission.
