Qualifications :
(i) Degree in Unani Medicine from a University established by Law or statutory board/Faculty/Examination body of Indian Medicine or equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine central council Act, 1970
(ii) A post Graduate Degree in the subject of Tashreeh-ul Badan/ Jarahiyat/Kulliyat

Desirable : Reading, writing and speaking knowledge of Arabic/Persian/English

Salary : Rs.

45000/- (all inclusive) per month

Applications are invited for the Temporary Project Staff Post of Research Assistant / Field Investigators for a two-years on ICSSR Grant-in-Aid Major Research Project entitled, “Economic Envelopment Analysis of Mainstreaming AYUSH towards Health Equity: A Study of Social Health Monitoring Framework (wrto NCD) in Indian States” Incumbent will be given initially for one year contract on purely temporary basis and which would be reviewed after one year for an extension.



Qualifications for Research Assistant (post-1): PhD / MPhil,/ MPT/ MBA (Health Management)/MA (preferably Economics) with minimum of 55% marks Remuneration as per ICSSR Research Project Norms and Rules

Qualifications for Field Investigators (post-7): MPT/ MBA (Health Management)/BUMS/BAMS/BHMS/MA with minimum of 55% marks.

Remuneration as per ICSSR Research Project Norms and Rules on pro-rata basis

Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed had a vision of making the practice of Unani Medicine into a scientific discipline so that Unani medicines could be dispensed in a more efficacious manner to patients. He gave the name Hamdard to his venture which means sympathy for all and sharing of pain.
