Assistant Director (Art ware)

Essential Qualifications: (A) A Post Graduate degree in History from a University established by law in India or a degree recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto (B) Two years experience of working in reputed Museum of Art ware or Textiles or Ethnographics Arts.



Preferential Qualifications: (A) A Diploma in Museology from an institution recognized by the Government or two years experience of working in Museum of repute (B) Published work or articles on any aspect of Art Ware, Textiles or Ethnography

Technical Officer/ 2 Posts

Qualification Essential:
(i) A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication Automobile or Production Engineering from a recognized University or AMI.

MIEE (London) or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Govt.


(ii) Teaching or Workshop experience of at least two years for the posts of Technical Officer/Principal (Grade-II)/Vice Principal

Indianisation of the superior Civil Services became one of the major demands of the political movement compelling the British Indian Government to consider setting up of a Public Service Commission for recruitment to its services in the territory. The first Public Service Commission was set up on October 1st, 1926. However, its limited advisory functions failed to satisfy the peoples aspirations and the continued stress on this aspect by the leaders of our freedom movement resulted in the setting up of the Federal Public Service Commission under the Government of India Act, 1935.
