ResponsibilitiesManaging the peer review and publication process of assigned manuscripts in a growing open access journalAssessing submitted research papers to identify potential content for our publicationsWorking with the Heliyon team to develop the journal's processes and contentContributing to Heliyon team and innovation projects by identifying exciting new topics and research.
Overseeing the peer review process to verify the content and to make editorial recommendationsWriting preview articles to introduce our readership to new findingsRequirementsA PhD in computer science or a masters degree in computer science (M.
Sc/MCA/MCS/ME/MTech/MPhil) with research experienceHave an exceptional command over English language and the ability to write in an engaging and interesting mannerHave deep knowledge/experience in one of the following subjects and a working knowledge and willingness to work in others machine learning/deep learning, neural networks, natural language processing (NLP), internet of things (IoT), computer optimization.
Have excellent organizational skills and be able to adapt and flex to deliver multiple priorities in a fast-moving environmentBe able to think critically and creatively to resolve problems and implement solutionsBe willing to learn and absorb new areas of researchWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation With an average length of service of 9 years, we are confident that we offer an appealing working prospect for our people.
