To put it short: Vestas Power Solutions develops the wind power systems of the future Part of the multi-disciplinary Nacelle Internals Sub module is a global team and has total of 10 Strong Structural/Mechanical engineers responsible as Technical leads, Funtional leads and Design Engineers with FEA,CAD and ECM competences Responsibilities

• Nacelle Internals Lead Engineer is responsible as Technical lead who will be responsible for Leading the Nacelle Structure Projects for all Platform and Delivering on time with good quality and cost optimization
• Determining the project requirements and developing the project plan for the team
• Liaising with team members, Project management, and Technical Management to ensure projects are completed as per timeline considering quality and cost optimization
• Identifying the project risks and forming mitigation and contingency plans along with Project Managers and team
• Preparing the project progress reports / Technical review presentations and delivering to the Value Chain stakeholders
• Delivery of project design work through gates, matching specifications for function, cost, quality and time
• Adept knowledge in Design specifications/requirements for Nacelle internal components
• Ability to write requirements based on system engineering and identify impacts from/to other systems - Knowledge of system engineering tools like DFMEA, HSE assessments documentation

Qualifications

• BE/ME- Mechanical Engineering / Structural Engineering / Similar
• Minimum 7+yrs of experience in Structural/Mechanical engineering and design
• Adept knowledge on Design Requirements on Structural beams, Channels and its Load requirements ( Fatigue and Extreme )
• Knowledge on Structural steel / beam and its standards, Material properties, Load requirements and Surface treatments
• Hands on experience in Ansys Workbench (Structural Evaluation & calculation)
• Good level of knowledge in Design verification (incl FEA), validation and reports and Product certification
• Design norms and standards: Eurocodes, European standards, DNV standards
• Knowledge about extreme and fatigue analysis
• Knowledge of system engineering tools like DFMEA, HSE assessments documentation
