Auditor Internal Specialist Job In Cubic Corporation In Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India

• Responsible for executing the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting testing assigned by the Senior Audit Manager based in the USA
• Responsible for meeting weekly controls testing deadlines and reporting results of testing/potential control deficiencies to management and external audit firm
• Coordinate with process and control owners to obtain documentation and get answers to questions to complete controls testing and conclude whether control objectives have been fulfilled
• Process and control owners are currently based in the USA, EU, and APAC, which will require flexibility to participate in meetings outside normal working hours
• Collaborate with process and control owners on remediating identified deficiencies, including suggesting solutions on internal control enhancements or process changes
• Proactively manage schedule including notifying manager of timeline pressures and suggesting solutions
• Executes substantive testing for areas such as cash, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and debt, in support of the annual external audit
• Prepare and present reports to management on the status of the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting testing program, which will require flexibility to participate in meetings outside normal working hours
• Contribute to optimizing operational efficiency through identifying, suggesting solutions, and helping implement changes to control activities including streamlining and automating
• Identifies and helps implement efficiency generating practices in the governance for the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting testing program

• Must have 5+ years of experience performing Internal Controls over Financial Reporting testing for a global company or client(s) where the control owners and control activities are executed outside of India
• 'Big Four' Public Accounting firm experience performing SOX testing of Internal Controls over Financial reporting will be preferred
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to interface with all levels of employees, management and external auditors
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks by assigned deadlines
• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and willingness to dive deep into assigned tasks
• Experience performing substantive testing of areas such as cash, fixed assets and accounts payable
• Ability to work with global process and control owners outside normal working hours, when needed to complete tasks
• Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant certification
• Four-year college degree, or equivalent, in accounting
• Must be proficient in MS Office
• Proficiency with SAP will be preferred
