BURO will act as verifiers for the risks identified in their respective Business Unit by a process of self-assessment and shall discuss the findings with the Chief Risk Officer4 Embed the risk appetite statement and risk limits into their day to day activities so as to embed prudent risk taking into the Company's risk culture and day to day management of risk5 Will help facilitate, partake and verify the results of the self-assessment process and opine on the departmental/business assessment of risk types, quantification and frequency.
6 Ensure that all operational and enterprise risk issues are brought to the attention of CRO and the Department/business every month7 Review the appropriateness of the design and implementation of risk mitigation strategies8.
Responsible for the timely follow-up, documentation and status of action plans, open issues (Internal Audit, External Audit, Regulator) and other initiatives pending its completion9 Identification of risk events is required to be done on an ongoing basis by the BURO for existing processes and on ad-hoc basis as required for new product introductions, projects or changes contemplated to existing products and processes10 To conduct regular discussions, surveys, etc.
to identify new risks on a timely basis11 Work with risk owners to track & govern the risk treatment plans and exceptions to ensure that all identified risks are managed within the organization's risk appetite12 Perform risk analysis on the existing threats/controls or new projects and provide a impact assessment report to the Operations Department Head13.
BURO will report to their respective departments/businesses, but work closely with CRO within the risk management framework and policyImpact You'll Make:Engineering/Economics/Statistics/Commerce from top-Tier colleges 10+ years' experience in BFSI/Risk Consultancy, Compliance & Policy, Credit Risk Knowledge of Banking/ Lending Industry would be preferred Strong written and verbal communications skillsTransUnion Job TitleManager I, Risk Management
