, will have a start and end date Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager Introduction: The job holder is responsible for analysing and testing the DWH applications This includes analysing the requirements, effort estimation, test plan design, test executions inclusive of automation and regression test in accordance with SDLC best practices The role primarily required to work on equities and derivatives data warehouse new projects.

The role also demands to provide support on various testing streams - Regression Testing, Impact Assessment Testing, Automation testing etc What will you be doing Actively engage with Business Analysts and IT partners in the requirements analysis for system enhancements and changes Interpret and understand functional specifications to design Test Strategy, prepare Test Plan, execute Test cases for all changes and documentation of results.

Working independently on all phases of the testing - System test, System integration test, User acceptance test etc Contribute in test automation strategies exploring opportunities to move away from manual testing and automate repetitive testing activities Support regression testing, impact assessment testing, automation testing and other streams which shall be on demand basis .

Provide test metrics to key stakeholders at regular intervals Work closely with global development team members spread across various geographies - participating in and contributing to technical discussions Participate and contribute in technical discussions Communicate effectively with the Internal /external IT development teams and stakeholders of the project What we're looking for: .

A bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related Preferably hands-on SQL database and have worked on Unix like machines Functional and Automation Testing experience on database centric applications Data warehouse and front to back finance operational process knowledge is required Desirable to have experience of agile delivery in a data centric, regulatory environment Skills that will help you in the role : Technical Skills:.

Knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL and SQL writing Experience with Unix/Linux and Informatica application is required Familiar with scheduling management technologies eg Autosys, Control M .

Experience of Manual testing UI/Dashboard applications and automating them is required Preferable domain knowledge in Regulatory Reporting and Analysis Personal & Interpersonal Skill: Able to work well with IT developers in multiple locations .
