The Office of the Chief Information and Digital Officer (OCIDO) plays a critical role in strategy, planning and operations of global Lilly Information and Digital Solutions (IDS) which powers the purpose of Lillyu00A0 The OCIDO is responsible for providing leadership the necessary visibility and control for 'running the business of IDS', via trusted competency, methods, policies, people, process, toolsu00A0 This visibility allows all levels of leadership to consume and leverage information that is relevant to them, to make appropriate decisions and actu00A0 This role will be responsible for providing in-depth technical support on the suite of OCIDO tools related to our key datasets including Financial, Headcount, Project / Portfolio Management, Allocations, Software Asset Management, and Application Portfolio Managementu00A0 In addition, this role will assume responsibility for updating, maintaining, and controlling the various tools/processes for the enablement of the OCIDO to deliver on its various data and reporting needs.

u00A0 The OCIDO Azure Data Engineer role will also play an integral part in ensuring that our tools meet all the necessary business / compliance requirementsu00A0 This individual will also partner closely with the other members of the OCIDO core tools team and other support resources to ensure requirements are met and toolsets are meeting the future strategy and direction of our organizationBasic Qualifications & Required skills:

• Bacheloru2019s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 3 Years of working experience on Azure Cloud Services
• Strong understanding of different Azure services (Azure Active Directory, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Action, Azure CDN etc)
• Strong in SQL/PLSQL concepts
• Good exposure on data warehouse concepts
• Ability to suggest and implement an end-to-end solution using multiple available Azure services for a given use case
• Good understanding of relational and dimensional data models
• Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, NET etc
• Adept at leveraging new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality
• Experience in automating repeated processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with system design, implementation, upgrades, and enhancements
• Ability to test end-to-end solutions/tools built using Azure services and document the observations/findings
• Willingness to explore new technologies and ideas
• Strong planning, communication, and organization skills
• Experience translating complex, ambiguous assignments into actionable plans and tasks, while keeping end user experience in mind and ensuring those tasks are repeatable and sustainable
• Experience integrating various IT business processes, data and applications across multi-functional processes and systems
• Business minded with technical expertise in using IT tools (examples: Excel and PowerPoint) to communicate complex concepts using data and charting techniques
• Solid networking, interpersonal and relationship skills

Additional Skills/Preferences:

• Strong understanding of Business Operation Processes including financial, headcount, and portfolio management
• Two to three years of portfolio management and/or financial management experience
• Experience and knowledge of SAP and budget planning experience
• Experience / certification with Agile methodology
• Advanced SQL writing skills, strong understanding of relational and dimensional data models
• Expert in managing and executing all phases of SDLC.
  
  
• Proficiency in coding and maintaining cloud-based systems
• Experience with clinical trial business processes
• Familiarity with and comfortable being Agile and using agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
