About the RoleHelp operations by supporting their decision making through your analytics, heavily data-driven approach, and operational attitudeThe ideal candidate for this role should have strong analytical skills, excellent time-management, priority setting, organizational habits, the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek consensus, and excellent team interactionAbout the Team:The work our team does is mostly investigative and is encouraged to bring meaningful results which can be implemented to optimize daily operations and also sometimes adaptable to apply regionally or globally to enable process improvementWhat you will do
- Build, and maintain detailed models/dashboards for city-level, regional, and global reporting
- Coordinate with other members of the Operations team to measure the impact and efficiency of new products and business processes
- Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes to keep support teams as efficient as possible
- Mentor junior resources within the team
- Application of Statistical Modeling and Machine Learning Algorithms to solve some of the most sophisticated Business Problems
- Lead analytics projects for the larger team
What you will need
- 2+ years of work experience in a data processing, data analysis and automation
- Solid understanding of any querying language, especially SQL
- Proficiency in one or more tools (eg.
Data Studio, Dashbuilder, Querybuilder, Python, R, Shiny, etc) - Exposure in using Hive / Presto
