• Oversee cloud infrastructure design and develop detailed architecture models for business to host test, development, and production workloads
• Work closely with North American teams for ensuring global consistency on all cloud related services
• Plan for system and application migration(s) to the cloud, adhering to the IT and business requirements
• Develop and document technical designs for integration and implementation of new cloud applications and systems
• Optimize cost of cloud solutions by identifying waste and automating cloud cost management
• Plan and develop support processes that adhere to required controls and best practices (ITIL)

Preferred skills

• Strong track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
• Leading highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments
• Large scale migration experience from on-premise data center to Cloud
• Infrastructure automation through DevOps tooling (Ansible and OpenShift)
• Previous experience in the design and implement a highly decoupled, event driven microservice infrastructure is an advantage
• Ability to coach and transfer knowledge to key stakeholders
• Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively
• Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
• Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  
  
• Holder of AWS relevant certifications
• 15 + years of relevant experience with minimum 5 years in managing or leading cloud infrastructure architecture, design and engineering functions
• Relevant experience in insurance and financial industries is an advantage
