Job Description:
The Regional COE Commercial Support Analyst will support the overall forecasting, planning and analysis activities for designated stakeholders within Business Unit Finance Responsibilities include:
Business Plan support and analysis including working on various updates / estimates
Data analysis and trend and forecast reporting
Monthly close, Quarter close and standard reporting including Budget vs Actual Analysis on a monthly / quarterly basis
Support Adhoc information and analysis requests from Finance including downloading and analyzing data for analysis from various systems of the company
Supports continuous improvement activities
Assists with training fellow team members
Participates in training to increase knowledge & skill
Ensure policies and procedures are followed including compliance with WWP / SOX guidelines
Submitting / uploading data and validating reports / submissions in various systems of the company as may be required
Support BUF / GS during month end / quarter end closing activities
Business partnering with various stakeholders
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Decision Support: Prepare ad-hoc reporting & performance analytics work products
Budgeting, Updates, Standard Reporting/Analytics Execution: Deliver balance sheet & Operating expenses forecasting work products
Budgeting, Updates, Standard Reporting/Analytics Execution: Establish Budget baseline by performing statistical trend analysis
Budgeting, Updates, Standard Reporting/Analytics Execution: Deliver standard reporting & performance analytics work products
Governance: Prepare CoE Operational Performance Metrics
Administrative Activities: Participate in functional or career development training
Administrative Activities: Lead or participate in status or team meetings and provide updates to leadership
Submitting / uploading data and validating reports / submissions in various systems of the company as may be required
Support BUF / GS during month end / quarter end closing activities
Interacting with BUF / GS for various activities and requirements for updates / forecasts / BVA
Participates in or lead cross sector/function/regional projects
Training fellow team members
Act as a backup for other analysts in the team as may be required
Qualifications
Qualifications And Experience
Finance/Accounting, First attempt CA / CMA or other financial certification
2nd attempt CA having worked with Big 4 CA firm can also be considered
Required Years of Related Experience: 1 – 2 Years
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of Finance / Accounting principles and processes
Prior working experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role is a must
Should have passion for IT systems / planning tools and should be able to understand and articulate interdependence of data/systems
Microsoft Office intermediate / Advanced knowledge especially Excel and powerpoint,
Knowledge of planning tools / systems such as TM1 and other IT dashboards / tools like Tableau, Alteryx preferred
Ability to constantly work long hours under pressure for a long period and deliver as per timelines
Independent thinking and strong planning/prioritization are critical to success
Experienced professional with strong interpersonal, communication, framing and presentation skills who is able to interact with senior management is required.
