Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager Introduction:This role is for a Test Analyst who will work on to ensure the test suite is continuously expanded and improved, and quality is maintained as per the business requirementWhat will you be doing Review and analyse requirements to identify all areas of functional and non-functional (eg capacity, availability, response times, etc.
) testing required Create and execute tests using Approved Automation/Functional/Performance Test tools as applicable aligning to overall test strategy defined Complete assignment work to budget, time and quality requirements Document all work in accordance with agreed standards, and with re-use in mind Facilitate defect triage so that all appropriate teams including own team participate in speedy resolution and ensure the team shares knowledge gained/lessons learned to wider testing community .
Ensure adherence to testing governance and processes Provide accurate and timely status reports and project metrics to various levels of stakeholders and as agreed by the project and QA leadership team Escalate any issues to Test Lead as appropriate and in timely manner and provide options to resolve the issues for project's point of view Participate in requirement analysis, identifying risks and creation of test scenarios Always looking for opportunities to perform exploratory testing .
Actively keep up to date with the feature teams, spot inconsistencies, and potential conflicts in approach Work to ensure full integration with a focus on the quality of the overall serviceWhat we're looking for: Strong knowledge on Test automation tools such as API test automation using REST Assured tool / Karate, Selenium, Cucumber using Java Extensive knowledge of Testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches .
Excellent knowledge in testing skills (provide estimations, writing test scenarios, cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs) Hands on knowledge of associated technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring-JMS, Spring-Data Strong understanding of BDD, Hands on experience in automation development and execution Awareness of CI/CD and DevOps - Jenkins Experience of using the Git source code control system .
Excellent communication skills [verbal and written] are essential Ability to communicate clearly with the global team/stakeholders on the status and progress of allocated activities Strong analytical capabilities to understand the requirementsSkills that will help you in the role: Keen knowledge on testing concepts, processes, types and methods of testing Previous experience and exposure in automation scripting, management/testing and framework creation.
(Selenium/Java) is a must 4-6 years of experience in Software Testing / Automation testing Hands on experience of working in agile projects and knowledge of Test Management tools (eg.
JIRA) Graduate with software engineering background Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications: Experience in testing of Web Based Applications Experience of working on Investment banking applications.
