Competency needs

1 BE or B.

Tech with about 8 to 12 years of experience in manufacturing Industries preferably reputed valve manufacturing organizations

2 Well versed in manufacturing processes

3 Shall have worked in 'Costing' for at least about 5 years

4 Well versed in ERP

5 Shall be a good team player with a good attitude and positive approach

6 Shall be very good in English communication; Additionally, shall be able to manage Tamil

Requirements

1 Shall be well versed in cost computation of parts based on manufacturing processes

2 Shall be well versed with market price trend of material and machine hour rates

3 A good understanding on fixed and variable overheads, labor rates, logistics costs in market etc

4 Shall be able to work on costed BOMs

Estimate profitability based on the actual costing

6 Identify cost saving opportunities and work on that

7 Work on Quarterly price lists
