Growth at Pfizer isn't linear, success isn't limited, and advancement opportunities are abundantPfizer India Inflammation and Immunology comprises of several industry leading assets in the field of Rheumatology Additionally, we also have a robust pipeline upcoming in the Dermatology & Gastroenterology Portfolio, starting with the launch of a breakthrough molecule for Atopic Dermititis followed by advanced molecules The upcoming molecules enable significant therapeutic benefits to patients and will offer Pfizer's innovation for Atopic Dermatitis Patients as an alternative to Topical Steroids and Calcineurin Inhibitors As a Country Brand manager, you will lead the launch of our pipeline assets and be responsible for designing and driving the brand strategy in Dermatology.
The opportunity also offers avenues to build strategic partnerships to maximize access to patients who will benefit from this asset Given the transformative nature of the I&I Portfolio, the person will lead the marketing of the Dermatology products (Starting with Crisaborole) and be a key member in planning the launch of upcoming pipeline in the dermatology spaceStrategy & Planning:
- Develop marketing plan and strategy
- Drive voice of customer insights
- Drive segmentation of HCPs to optimize messaging and GTM plans
- Support the strategic planning process for business based on customer insights
- Tailor brand and execute brand strategies to local market needs
- Lead efforts to develop innovative and integrated digital omni-channel strategies to build proficiency in Customer Experience develop tactics to communicate brand messages effectively and efficiently to customers, with interconnected and consistent provider journeys across solutions
- Shape and lead the development of rapidly-created, agile and modular content using available tools
- Define local priorities for a brand or TA
- Optimally utilize available expenses to drive the same
- Work on campaigns, supporting the preparation of the project brief, agency selection process, CEP registration, progress tracking, and ensuring timely delivery of monthly report
- Review external data, dashboard and share monthly report with CBL
- Evaluate Access & Affordability opportunities
- Drives brand strategy and interactions, leveraging customer insights along the journey
- Be the point of contact for any partnership in this space
Implementation Support:
- Work with medical and legal team to get appropriate approval for materials
- Train field force on product knowledge, positioning, and prioritization
- Control performance of the marketing plan by monthly/quarterly monitoring of key performance indicators and monthly reporting KPIs to CL
- Prepare Marketing slides for POA/Reviews and other important meetings
- Embed foundational analytics capabilities (eg.
, global dashboards, tracking/reporting of metrics and KPIs) via coordination with global analytics teams and rapidly adjusts engagement approach based on new insights - Work with Cross Functional Team to drive brand/portfolio objectives
- Uses real-time customer behaviour to sharpen customer segmentation and execution of marketing mix - delivering content that is more relevant and timely
- Develop partnerships with multiple vendors to drive diagnostic infrastructure in the country
- Manage local agencies for trans-creation (budget, scope, timing, and quality of project)
Execution Excellence:
- Forecast brand performance and track progress towards target
- Monthly field communication on performance, action items for the brand for territories
- Working with external partners & SMEs to drive growth & patient impact
- Use streamlined content testing and actively identifies gaps to inform new content development
- Lead HCP segmentation and Persona activities
- Develop the digital strategy roadmap
- Creating strong Cx for HCPs and Patients & leveraging the customer journey needs
- Adopt best practices for Omnichannel HCP Engagement and in leveraging go to market solutions provides feedback and share voice of customer to internal partners for solution evolution
Accountable
- Brand Plan: review of brand strategies by CBL/regulatory / legal
- Campaign Development: Select best fitting modules for country needs
- Promo Meetings: Manage compliance review of materials
Shared Accountability
- Monthly Sales performance & Patient impact
- Develop Life cycle Management plan for Brand /Portfolio
- Long-range forecasting for brand (with BU lead and CBL)
- Develop promotional meetings strategy and drive execution
- Validate brand-specific messages, design training (w/medical, regulatory)
- Develop awareness campaigns, congress content (w/ KOLs) in partnership with Medical
QUALIFICATIONS Indicate qualifications that are job related, consistent with business necessity and necessary for the performance of an essential function of this role including: education/licenses/certifications, relevant experience (where legally permissible), technical and/or other job-related skills
- MBA - degree required Advance degree preferred
- 4-8 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in marketing, strategy, new product launch, business development in pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology companies
- The candidate must be a self-starter who is able to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and support the team through key strategic decisions for Pfizer's Inflammation and Immunology Portfolio as well as be able to understand the operational complexities required to execute against GLocal Launch Readiness for a breakthrough medicines
- He/ she must be mature, self-driven, have exceptional learning agility and a high degree of comfort with ambiguity
- Strategic cross functional leadership experience including in market experience and above country/regional scope
- Experience interfacing/collaborating with Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, Corporate Affairs and Regions
- Prior launch experience a plus, Dermatology experience will be an added benefit.
