Customer Quality SpecialistTake your next career step at ABB with a global team that is energizing the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future At ABB, we have the clear goal of driving diversity and inclusion across all dimensions: gender, LGBTQ+, abilities, ethnicity and generations Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differencesYou will be working as Customer Quality Specialist at global grade 14 and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India In this role you will be reporting to Quality Control Manager and will be responsible for looking after customer complaint resolution, analysis and align with the customer, electronic parts supplier quality performance analysis and take lead for the continuous improvement with the professional knowledge.

Your responsibilities

• Attending to customer complaint tickets and ensure that they are responded in time
• Interacting with zonal service engineers, factory quality team, complaint logging team for resolution of the tickets and taking necessary actions to resolve the complaints
• Analyzing the defective received from customer and providing 8D/Analysis report to the customer
• Handling of all complaints related to electronic parts and providing resolution to them along with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) wherever required
• Collaborating with supplier and manufacturing quality team to ensure CAPAs of issues observed
• Frequently visiting customer site location (local and international) in remote places for complete quality and system analysis to take necessary corrective actions or suggestion to the customers

Your background

• Diploma in Electronics and having 5 years of experience in similar role
• Knowledge of low voltage switchgear products like ACB, MCCB, Switches, Fuse gear, Control gear, pilot devices, soft starter, UPS etc
• Must have knowledge and skills - embedded hardware design - analog and mixed signal electronics, power electronics
• Should have knowledge & experience on design and development of power electronics/drivers & digital electronics designs, microcontrollers, microprocessor, and communication protocols-based circuits (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, USB)
• Hands on experience of analyzing electronic components used in LV products like electronic releases, PCBAs etc
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
