com We are seeking a Data Analyst in our Analytics and InsightsGroup within the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement OrganizationGENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION:The overall Analytics and Insights Group operates as an analytics COE and is responsible for supporting the current and developing needs of Sourcing and Procurement Organization by developing data visualizations, intelligent automation solutions, custom web applications and advanced analytics applications to turn raw data into actionable insights The Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting our strategy to develop, maintain and support the underlying data infrastructures including a large data lake and data warehouse to meet the requirements of the organization The candidate will serve as a link between business customers, other Analytics and Insights team members and the data platform team (IT).

The ideal candidate is a skilled leader with experience in working with large data sets in a variety of enterprise data storage solutions with both a technical and business functional skill set This is not an IT role but a business facing role and will require great communication, professionalism and attention to detailKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Acts as the day-to-day, business owner of our key data stores

  Supports the planning, implementation and support of data acquisition, staging, loading and transformation of data
• Understands business needs and translates them into business requirements and then functional requirements Works alongside IT support to translate functional requirements into technical designs
• .
  
  Works with team members in developing data store solutions and data models that supports new reports, dashboards and other analytical solutions to meet business requirements
• Develops and maintains detailed documentation of the data including data definitions, high level ETL and data lineage
• Designs, develops, and executes test plans to proactively identify defects/issues across large enterprise data stores and new data integrations.
  
  
• Provides detailed analysis on backlog issues including business impact to support prioritization
• Supports the establishment and fulfillment of a product backlog for incident resolution and enhancement requests This includes data profiling to identify bugs/enhancements, root cause analysis, validation of bugs/enhancements as they are deployed, and communication to impacted user groups.
  
  
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of complex data models, data structures, and data governance best practices to support large enterprise data stores
• Supports adhoc requests by querying the data stores to return results to meet customer needs

  Demonstrates the skills and knowledge to establish and manage timelines, project priorities and handle multiple/concurrent projects Maintain a sense of accountability and responsibility

BASIC REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Experience utilizing complex SQL to navigate large enterprise data stores with complex data structures.
  
  
• Experience in troubleshooting data issues including performing root cause analysis
• Experience transforming raw data into informative actionable insights

  Experience leading business requirements, functional requirements and testing in the development lifecycle process
• Experience working with large data sets in a variety of enterprise data storage solutions with both a technical and business functional skill set
• Experience with planning, implementation and support of data acquisition, staging, loading and transformation of data

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistical area or other related focus
• 2+ years of experience working with enterprise data stores, data lakes, external data sources, APIs and data modelling concepts
• Experience in consumer BI/Reporting Tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense)

  Experience working in an analytics COE or an analytics consulting role
• Knowledge of AWS technologies
