• Lead effort to create a comprehensive conceptual, logical, and physical data model for the business
• Mentor / coach colleagues on Data Modeling
• Actively participate in design meetings, workshops in order to influence the data strategy for the business
• Lead periodic reviews of data quality
• Cultivate data management practices and processes that improve the speed and accuracy of analytics, including data access, data loading, data readiness, quality control, automation, integration, and model deployment and management across the company
• Provide guidance on data operations across the organization

Capabilities

• Subject matter expert in the area of Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling
• Identify enhancement opportunities in an existing data model
• Able to apply Physical Data Modeling skills in highly complex, cross-functional situations and positively impacts the organization
• Ability to interpret Conceptual Data Model into Logical and Physical Data models
• Deep understanding of more than one particular database management system employed
• Exposure into non-traditional data modeling techniques, eg, NoSQL, Graph databases
• Capable of architecting the logical framework for a business project
• Lead, influence, and design the activities across the project team to ensure logical data model meets strategic business objectives
