Data Engineer Job In Atlas Copco In Pune, India

The Role

• Collaborate with business colleagues to identify and define opportunities to use data to drive solutions for business challenges
• Model, collate and extract data to supply reports and solutions to colleagues within the business
• Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results
• Create clear reports that tell compelling stories about how customers or clients work with the business

• Assess the effectiveness of data sources and data-gathering techniques and improve data collection methods
• Stay up to date with the latest technology, techniques and methods
• Support the team in looking for opportunities to use insights/datasets/code/models across other functions in the organisation
• Document solution including source-to-target mappings and data dictionary

What we expect of youKnowledge, skills, experience required

• A good understanding of how data solutions satisfy business requirements and the consequences of sub-optimal design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Extensive experience with SQL coding and SQL Server databases
• Extensive experience delivering data solutions using Databricks

• Extensive experience designing and creating Power BI dashboards and reports
• Experience of Extract, Transform and Load technologies and techniques
• Familiarity with the Azure ecosystyem ( DataBricks, DataFactory, KeyVault, LogicApps )
• Must be able to collaborate with colleagues with and without technical expertise

Useful Skills

• Excel coding skills
• Familiaity with Python or R
• Experience delivering solutions on the MS PowerPlatform
• Experience building algorithm and training models for Machine Learning projects

Education & Experience

• 3 + years of experience in a relevant Development/Data Engineer or Analytics role.
  
  
• Preferably a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Preferably a qualification in Data Science relevant to the technology stack
