As Data Governance lead, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing and governing an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including development of data management capabilities
- Rolling out of data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of meta data management, data quality and the protection of sensitive data
- Designing, developing , maintaining, and enforcing governance frameworks, operating model, standards, procedures, and policies for the Data Engineering and Analytics team
- Collaborating with business and functional teams to ensure data is properly managed and governed
- Ensuring new data products and development are in alignment with data architecture and security guidelines
- Driving technology discussion and strategy in line with business needs and company reference architecture
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
- Have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 'STEM' Majors (Science,Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum 6 years of professional experience
- Have 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in in data governance and data architecture in an enterprise environment
- Have 3+ years in implementing and supporting complex data management initiatives
- Have deep subject matter expertise in data governance and hands on experience in designing, scaling and implementing data governance processes and tools
- Be proficient in data management tools and knowledge of data management principles, processes and data lifecycle
- Have understanding of Data Science and related technologies
- Have hands-on experience of using one or more of data management toolsets
