Program Management & Facilitation - The Sr Consultant leverages product and program management principles to drive the iterative creation of new data and analytical capabilities and assets for the system This includes, but it not limited to consulting with business stakeholders to design and scope solutions, capturing and preparing project intake (demands), documenting business decisions, managing risks and scope, and updating customers on progressDelivery & Enablement - The Sr Consultant delivers solutions and drives adoption with the business in order to achieve business objectives and realize value.
They assess business adoption of delivered solutions They provide end-user enablement and support, including high-touch customer service, communications, and the creation of reusable knowledge assets such as documentation and training content The Sr Consultant serves as the liaison between their end-user community and developers, helping to identify, scope, and prioritize ongoing program deliveryData Governance Expertise - Acts as an internal expert on data governance principles and best practices.
Educates ALJ leaders and governance stakeholders on industry standards and successful approaches at a level appropriate to the intended audienceStrong understanding of the data lifecycleHands-on experience with Data Governance activities:oDefining, implementing, and operating a data governance bodies, including typical data governance policies, processes, and standardsoCreating data governance operating models and chartersoDefining and implementing data governance key performance indicatorsoOperating data governance bodiesWorking knowledge of data management industry best practices such as DAMA DMBOK, CMMI DMM, EDM Council DCAMAbility to work with diverse stakeholder groups, develop, and implement data management standards, policies, and best practicesExperience developing data governance policies and proceduresKnowledge of the different Data Management Domains Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; an engineering qualification will be an advantage DAMA, D-AMA DMF, CDMP, CIPP, CIPM Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience with Data Management Decision making Analytical thinking Communications and interaction skills Leadership abilities Networking
