The successful candidate will be based in our Bangalore Center, be a member of the global DnA leadership team, and will help define the vision, strategy and operating model for our Data Management, Data Products and Business Intelligence capabilities The role will report to the Chief Data & Analytics Officer and will receive sponsorship and support from the Bangalore DnA and AI Solutions Leader and from the Global Leader of the Data Management and Strategy Service Line What You Will Do In Your Role Inspire people through a strong principles-based culture - Be a Servant Leader for a large and growing team of 100 talented colleagues with range of competencies in Data Management, Data Engineering, & BI As a people and culture leader, creating the right environment that inspires colleagues, generates opportunities to grow and develop and empowering and enabling them to self-actualize will be one of the primary obligations of this role.

This will also include conducting performance reviews, hiring, training, grooming leaders of leaders, succession planning and managing attrition/retention

• Set vision and define strategy - Set vision, strategy, and a refined operating model to transform the Data Products and BI capabilities in the global DnA team This will require working with the various Koch businesses that are the soliciting these services to elevate their aspirations and expectations, challenging them with a vision for what a great Data Management and BI capability looks like and helping them adapt their current approaches and embed these transformed capabilities in their processes to realize value
• Drive transformation and realize value through a refined operating model - working with IT & Analytics Leaders across Koch, this leader will examine the existing model of dedicated resources in each business and where appropriate, identify and execute a leveraged capability model for people, process & technology, enabling borderless ways-of-working for data management and BI across Koch This will require strong influencing and communication skills, ability to define and articulate best practices, and relentlessly pursue change and evolution towards a transformed paradigm.
  
  
• Enable frictionless delivery and drive operational excellence - Accountability for delivery of data management and BI services, stakeholder management, managing escalations, defining, and implementing the Governance practices around delivery This includes managing demand and resources, time tracking, billing, implementing delivery best practices, AGILE/SCRUM adoption, and tracking progress via metrics This role requires a good mix of strategic and execution competencies In line with our culture of continuous improvement, this leader will be persistent in seeking operational excellence in how we engage and deliver our capabilities to our business partners

The Experience You Will BringRequirements:Summary: 10-15 years of experience in a leadership role that requires building and leading data, analytics and/or BI teams that deliver exceptional outcomes, building a culture anchored in principles, innovation, and excellence, setting vision and strategy, and executing on that strategy to drive value creation

• • People & Culture -10+ years of managing large teams which includes leaders of leaders, supervisors as well as individual contributors Experienced at talent acquisition, development, engagement, retention, performance improvement plans & creating career growth paths for the team
  Strategy -7+ years' experience defining vision and strategy for global Data & Analytics teams, advancing and delivering against digital transformation programs for various clients/businesses and ability to influence & challenge senior leaders and bring in a change in mindset Proven ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop, and execute strategies, and track and measure results
  • Operational Excellence -15+ years' experience managing large global teams/programs, managing all aspects of operations and delivery be it seamless operations, escalations, stakeholder management, attrition, KPI/OKR realization and economic stewardship.
    
    
  • Technical proficiency - Deep expertise in data governance, data engineering & BI, including thorough knowledge of contemporary principles and concepts and understanding of modern architectural frameworks to provide thought leadership across different teams working in different domains having understanding of variety of MDM tools, Data Virtualization tools, BI tools, ETL tools, Database concepts, Cloud concepts, Engineering products/platforms, Architecture/Solution design review etc, will also be required

• Leading large cross functional and technical teams across geographies that are responsible for delivering business outcomes and results

• Good understanding on one or multiple business domains such as Supply chain, Finance, Manufacturing and Logistics
