What We'll Bring:In this role, you will: Work closely with Data and Software Engineering, and Infrastructure teams, to update database storage, troubleshoot technical issues and create visual layouts to display data Create code libraries and instructional materials for other data professionals to update data systems Provide database architecture design guidance to the organization and data engineering teams, ensuring high-quality, secure, scalable systems - often spearheading new design approaches Regularly review and maintain security of all system data Define and promote database engineering best practices with all data teams.

• Ensures security of all data systems and digital data, including adherence to government regulations and guidelines for safeguarding of data

• Achieves data design goals by defining, integrating, and upgrading a comprehensive architecture to support applications, platforms, and databases
• Experience with data modeling (conceptual, logical and physical) for OLTP, Data Marts, Data Warehouse
• Apply data modeling techniques to ensure integration and performance expectations as well as allow for future flexibility
• Refine and automate regular SSIS and SSRS processes
• As needed, perform operations including monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, backup creation, optimization, etc

• Experience working with and optimizing data flow for micro-services application stack
• Provide statistical analysis to develop, test, and optimize databases to their full potential
• Prepare detailed reports for management and other departments by analyzing and interpreting data
• Communicates technology needs and strategy to fellow members of executive team
• Updates job knowledge by reading professional publications, tracking emerging technologies, and continued learning

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science and/or at least 10 years of experience in the field
• Mastery of specific types of databases, such as relational or foundational databases
• Excellent data management skills
