JOB DESCRIPTION HARDWARE DESIGN ENGINEER (ELECTRONICS)JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title : Design Engineer (Electronics) Department : Defence & Special Project Summary: The Electronics Engineer will design hardware for High Frequency Based Inverter / Converter technology like ZVS, ZCS, LLC Resonant Converters, Sine Wave PWM Inverters, DC-DC Converters, 1-Phase, and 3-Phase PFC etc used mainly UPS, SMPS, Battery Chargers, Electrolyser etc applications Design work on other electronic components/system integration according to application requirement may also be undertaken Duties & Responsibility:

• Primarily working on hardware design.
  
  Involved in design projects as well as support to existing production and other areas of the company
• Carries out electronic circuit design, Integration of off the self-product in accordance with industrial
• application and design verification/validation testing
• Taking type approvals for products Selects new parts, taking into consideration availability and cost
• Prepares and presents electronic designs to other members of the design team and project
• stakeholders at design reviews
• Documents design work and prepares reports, ensuring design files and information are kept up to date and stored in accordance with company procedures.
  
  
• Preparation of Schematic, Bill of Material, ATP/QTP as per requirement of company / customer
• Follows departmental processes relating to management of designs, and the design and project management processes
• The Electronics Engineer will also support the Engineering Manager in recording and reporting design progress into the project and management teams

Additional Skills: Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Excellent Analytical and Problem Solving skills, Excellent communication skills, Excellent written and presentation skillsPersonal Attributes Self-driven with a positive outlook, able to work equally well as an individual or as part of a team Good communicator, well presented and business-like and flexible to travel.

Keen for new experience, responsibility, to develop new skills and expand knowledge base Work Environment The role will be primarily Office based with occasional travel as required Qualification and Experience BE / MTech in Electronics Engineering and having relevant experience for 3 to 5 years in (UPS/SMPS/Power Electronics) Industry
