• Deployment team'smission is to deploy and operate end-to-end microservices based Order fulfillment components products in Azure and GCP environments with customer focus This team deploys and operates software that leverage, messaging frameworks and innovative open source to build the platform
• As a SaaS Devops engineer, you will be responsible to deploy and monitor microservices and makes sure the solution is running efficiently within the agreed upon SLAs as well as support the implementation team

Responsibilities:Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with product and cloud architects to design automated pipelines to support SaaS delivery and operations in Azure and GCP cloud platforms.
  
  
• Work with company personnel to define technical problems and requirements, determine solutions, and implement those solutions
• Provide technical feedback to engineering regarding product changes and enhancements
• Deploy and automate deployment as well as monitor the client solution make sure the client environments are up 999999% of the time and meet the response time SLAs
• Plan upgrades and executes towards the goal of moving all the clients to the latest version of the software.
  
  
• Make sure the deployments are secure and work with security team to harden the environments and fix any security vulnerabilities
• Inspires the team to become better at their craft and trains the team both technically and functionally
• Looks beyond the surface and fix the root causes rather than symptoms
• Identifies skill gaps, and actively helps in training the new members of the team on the open-source technology stack
• Actively identifies and reduces complexity in deployments and motivates team members to do the same
• Provide technical feedback to engineering regarding product changes and enhancements.
  
  
• Create tests, tools, and diagnostic procedures for use by product support personnel
• Considers operational costs even in early design stages and incorporates it as a factor into the decision-making process

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree and 5+ years of equivalent experience in technology related field (for example, computer science, information technology, electronics engineering, etc)
• 5+ year of experience in Jenkins, DevOps, Groovy, and Automation
• Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident management, Request fulfilment, Change management, RCAs)
• Hands-on experience and/or significant familiarity with Cloud and automation tools/technologies such as (all not required): Microsoft, Amazon, Google CI/CD tool suites IaaS, PaaS, SaaS tool suites other tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, InSpec, Jenkins, GitHub/BitBucket, Artifactory, Maven, Docker & Kubernetes, etc
• 3+ years' experience in shell scripting (unix, python)
• 2+ years' of proven proficiency in JIRA, Rally, or similar Agile lifecycle tools solid understanding of and demonstrated hands-on experience in using Agile Project Management tools
• Solid understanding of and demonstrated hands-on experience with collaboration tools (any 2) JIRA, Confluence, visualization tools (Lucid Charts, Visio), Office Suite and SharePoint.
