Devsecops Engineer Job In Dxc Technology In Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India

• Provide hands-on expertise for build and release engineering processes and procedures
• Act as a liaison between different offshore and other release team members, communicating updates and addressing any issues that arise
• Collaborate closely with other release team members (onsite, offsite, and offshore) to build and oversee dry runs and release platforms
• Work with the TTG Release teams to ensure all release requirements and standards are followed
• Document, maintain and present best practice strategies to ensure near-term changes are aligned with long-term release objectives
• u00A0u00A0u00A0Ensure established code branching standards and procedures are followed
• Work closely with the technical and QA team to understand the systemu2019s functional and non-functional requirements and plan release deliverables
• u00A0u00A0u00A0Collaborate with infrastructure and other backend teams on software upgrades, disaster recovery and other efforts

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as release engineer with proven/sound experience in GIT Scripting, GIT Lab, Jenkins, Linux Shell scripting
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as lead / Senior release engineer in above skills and ability to mentor, drive offshore members / onsite technical co-ordination and decision-making during calls
• In-depth understanding and experience with Linux and shell scriptingu00A0
• Solid understanding of CI tool and GIT
• Working knowledge of Maven, SQL, Tomcat
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong understanding of the software development cycle
