MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:Work on Project Appraisal (All phasesTechnical, Institutional, Organizational, Managerial, Social, Commercial, Financial, Economic, Sustainability), Prepare and Update Investment Papers, MCA/ Concession Agreements, Respond to RFP RFQ and timely Submissions, Experience in M&A transaction, Prepareand review of Financial Model/ Financial Modelling, Presentations for Board and Investment CommitteeUnderstanding of Port/Rail/ICD/PFT /Bulk/ 3PL/CL/Express Logistics BUSINESS is ESSENTIALKey Responsibilities

1. Evaluate investment/expansion opportunities from conceptualization to implementation stage:

• Undertake site visits, interactions with users/customers, prepare travel reports and provide recommendations on business opportunities
• Undertake feasibility assessment - preparation and presentation of feasibility studies on prospective investments analyze project parameters, investment climate and potential benefits accruing to the organization,
• Collect relevant data as required for financial modeling and prepare business case covering business model, competitive environment, strategic benefits, synergy, project returns - IRR's/ NPV, ROCE, etc
• Prepare/update investment papers for the proposed investment for the Board / Investment Committee from time to time
• Co-ordinate with internal teams including Business Units / SMEs to for assessment of investment opportunity and to address queries raised / clarifications related to potential investments papers submitted and provide the clarifications on the same
• Contract / bid preparation and presentations - in case of projects which are tendered out by eg.
  
  Government authorities the scope also includes preparation of applications in response to Request for Qualification the Request for Proposal
• Participate as a team member in negotiations with local government, port authorities and prospective partners
• Co-ordination of concession agreements, etc

1. Preparing terms of reference and co-ordinate due diligence as appropriate in respective areas like operations, finance, legal, environmental, etc Interaction and co-ordination with solicitors, tax advisors etc on matters related to new opportunities
2. Preparation of Gantt charts for all implementation requirements that need to be completed.
   
   Co-ordinate completion of activities with the relevant managers responsible
3. Support in preparing and execution of preliminary documents eg memorandum of undertaking, non-disclosure agreements etc, participating in contract negotiations and preparation of definitive documents eg.
   
   shareholders agreement, seeking professional opinion on tax and legal matters, structuring of DP World investment in the project etc
4. Support in Project Finance including dealing with arrangers, lenders etc including loan documentation
5. Maintain a volume and market database for terminals in the region
6. Development of Budgets for new opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES Open to qualification

• 10-12 Years of experience in logistics infrastructure investments / project appraisal
• Understanding of Port, Rail, ICD/PFT and its operations Experience of Bulk, 3PL/CL, Express Logistics is ESSENTIAL
• Ability to identify potential business opportunities
• Understanding of Legal documents
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Competencies: Project Appraisal involving preparation/review of financial models and investment papers (Word / Power point)
