Job descriptionAre you ready to lead a unit which supports and develops complex and critical IT systems Are you a people leader who can drive performance by coaching and guiding talented IT teams Then here is an exciting opportunity to drive organizational strategies and delivery that results in top performance About the department The DD&IT staffs is responsible for application maintenance, application development and operational management of portfolio of IT systems supporting the Finance, HR, Quality and Facility solution processes This unit is part of Digital Data & IT GBS (Global Business Service) which was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Digital Data & IT in HQ (Head Quarter) From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 800+ employees till date The Position As a Director of the unit, you will be part of the management team and report directly to CVP (Corporate Vice President) DD& IT Staffs and functionally to VP (Vice President) of DD&IT GBS.
You set strategic direction in alignment with the department aspiration and business strategy Moreover, you get an opportunity to manage a portfolio of 100+ IT systems which includes financial critical systems, business critical systems & platforms, GXP Quality systems as well as facilities systems You are responsible to develop and drive digitalization partnership strategy along with being a Change Leader to transform the unit into an Agile Delivery team Further, you manage the full portfolio of systems including prioritisation of tasks and deliverables, ensure delivery of system services, performance, availability in line with business needs, and vendor management In addition, you will be handling the budget for both staff and systems.
Besides, you will manage five people managers who are responsible for handling day-to-day managerial duties and system operations for their respective areas Above all, you also have operational responsibilities that are not limited to collaboration with stakeholders and vendors but also ensuring healthy and safe working conditions within the unit Qualifications An ideal candidate has the below experience:
- A Bachelors/Masters or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business)
- 10+ years of people management experience within pharmaceutical or other relevant industry, including hiring, appraising and development responsibility of people
- 10+ years of experience in managing technology related deliverables in ITIL and service level-based setup
- 10+ years of experience with IT system management and/or IT project related work, i.
e, development, operation, and maintenance of IT systems - Proven success as a leader in an area of highly experienced, ideally in a regulated industry and experienced in leading the team of managers & specialist within a large matrix organisation
- Must have handled, worked, and collaborated for driving organizational strategies, and delivery of excellent performance and results, including continuous improvement

- Strong experience in working with teams and management present at different Global Locations

- Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication, and consensus building skills You must have high cultural sensitivity and ability to work across cultures.
