Job SummaryWork as a key strategic liaison between the Business and IT team Partner with assigned business unit leaders to plan new joint initiatives, evaluate proposals, and determine how they fit into business and IT capability roadmaps and priorities Identify business opportunities and the best-suited position within the organization Ensure delivery of IT solutions that generate business value and confirm that the results are measured and communicated Act as the principal technology advisor for assigned business units.
Engage other IT subject matter experts as needed Owns solution advice and driving decisions Coaches team on solutioning workManages a large team or multiple teams led by Managers and/or Supervisors Focus on tactical and operational plans with short-term focus.
POSITION PROFILE: (Basic Purpose of Position) The Director, IT Business Relationship Management AMEA role is responsible for supporting Avantor's AMEA region This role is responsible for being the key liaison between IT and business units, including Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Finance, Compliance They will Partner with business leadership to plan new joint initiatives, evaluate proposals, determine how they fit into business and IT capability roadmaps and priorities, and oversee IT implementations in the region This role is responsible for being the central point of contact with AMEA leadership for various IT requests Responsible for fulfilling these requests by coordinating back within the appropriate global IT teams.
