Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV) invites application for the position Domain Expert

No of Post: 01

Period of engagement: Initially for a period of one year May further be extended on year to year basis, subject to functional requirements and also subject to appraisal of the performance

Remuneration payable and entrylevel requirement:
i Entry-level requirement: Domain Expert shall be PG Degree Holder in Ayurveda having at least 5 Years experience in handling related matters
ii.

Level of Engagement as Domain Expert: Domain Expert in Ayurveda
iii Consolidated Remuneration: Rs 75,000/-

Place of Work: Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, Dhanwantri Bhawan, Road No – 66, Punjabi Bagh (West),New Delhi-110026

Desirable: Preference will be given to persons: Who are proficient in working independently in MS Word and other computer application Who have handled issues related to accreditation/ certification of product/ practices etc Experience in Policy matters Project/ Scheme related work

Age Limit: Should not be more than 64 years of age on the date walk-ininterview.

The ceiling for continuation of contract shall be 65 years as on the date of renewal of contract year to year basis

Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth was established on 11th Feb., 1988 with one of the objectives of promoting knowledge of Ayurveda and started functioning since 1991. The Vidyapeeth initiated the course of Member of RAV with an effort to revive the traditional method of Gurukula system of informal education of India i.e., Guru Shishya Parampara to Ayurvedic graduates after formal education. As people are aware, the present classical texts of Ayurveda, Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Ashtanga Hridaya etc. are believed to be the outcome of such informal education. This kind of study is lacking at present in the modern educational institutions where the courses are bound by fixed syllabus, duration of time and many subjects to learn.
