Eligibility : First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 65 CGPA on a 10 point scale in BTech/BE in Electrical Engineering and First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 65 CGPA on a 10 point scale in M.

Tech/ ME in the specializations of Power Electronics (or) Power Electronics and Drives (or) Power Electronics and Power Systems from a recognized technical institute or university as a full time program The candidate must have MTech through GATE (or) a valid GATE score Those who are appearing for the MTech/M.

E final semester examination may also apply Proof of MTech/ME certificate has to be provided during the time of interview

Desired Skills : Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering subjects including power electronics.

Knowledge of simulation software such as PSIM, MATLAB etc Experience of working on implementation of hardware power converter modules/PCB design Basic knowledge of VHDL/ DSP programming or equivalent to generate control signals Experience in on PFC converters & Hardware fabrication Ability to write technical research papers, work in a team and good communication skills.

Working knowledge of LED drivers for lighting systems is most desirable

Salary : 1 Rs25,000/- pm for first 2-years and Rs28,000/- pm for third year.

2 HRA as approved by SERB and institute norms as applicable 3 Selected candidate is eligible for on campus Hostel & Mess facilities at their own expenses

Age Limit : Preferably less than 30 years as on the last date for submission of application.

However, age relaxation will be given for the deserving candidates
