JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Electronics Engineer - Engineering Department: Defence and Special Projects Summary: The Electronics Engineer will design hardware for systems (UPS and SMPS) for High Frequency Based Inverter / Converter technology, used mainly in military environments (land, sea or air) Design work on other electronic components/system integration according to Military application requirement may also be undertaken Duties & Responsibility:

• Primarily working on hardware design Involved in design projects as well as support to existing production and Testing and other areas of the company
• Carries out electronic circuit design, Integration of off the self-product in accordance with Military application and use and design verification/validation testing.
  
  
• Taking approvals for types test, like as per Military Standards like for EMI EMC: MIL 461E/F and for Environmental: JSS 55555/ MIL 810F, ESS etc
• Selects new parts, taking into consideration availability and cost
• Prepares and presents electronic designs to other members of the design team and project stakeholders at design reviews
• Documents design work and prepares reports, ensuring design files and information are kept up to date and stored in accordance with company procedures
• Preparation of Schematic, Bill of Material , ATP/QTP as per requirement of company / customer
• Follows departmental processes relating to management of designs, and the design and project management processes.
  
  
• The Electronics Engineer will also support the Engineering Manager/Head in recording and reporting design progress into the project and management teams

Additional Skills: Some knowledge of design for Military applications including EMI/EMC specifications Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Excellent Analytical and Problem Solving skills, Excellent communication skills, Excellent written and presentation skillsPersonal Attributes Self-driven with a positive outlook, able to work equally well as an individual or as part of a team Good communicator, well presented and business-like and flexible to travel Keen for new experience, responsibility, to develop new skills and expand knowledge baseWork Environment The role will be primarily Office based with occasional travel as requiredQualification and Experience BE / BTech in Electronics Engineering and having relevant experience 3 to 5 years in (UPS/SMPS/Power Electronics) Industry / Defence Industry.
