• Design and develop high quality software products in a fast-paced environment
• Develop documents adhering to ISO/ IEEE/ EU, and Cybersecurity standards
• Support and enhance the entire software development life cycle
• Perform and guide the automation of unit, module, system and regression level testing on various software modules and systems
• Perform root cause analysis and develop solutions as necessary
• Accountable for system requirements review, software architecture and design
• Follow software development processes

Minimum Qualifications: (3 - 8 years experience)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in C and Exposure with C++ programming in a multitasking and multithreaded environment on a RTOS platform
• Experience with RTOS like QNX, VxWorks, etc or Linux
• Experience working with Ethernet, TCP/IP or RS 232/422 protocols
• Hands on experience testing/debugging Embedded software
• Experience with inter process communication and Synchronization methods
• Familiar with Software version control tools.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of safety critical software standards or Experience with rail or Automotive software is a plus
• Experience with creating IEEE software documents such as Software Design Description, Software Quality Assurance Plan, etc
• Experience with creating Cybersecurity documents adhering to standards such as IEC 62443 and ISO 27000
• Hands on experience with Shell or Batch scripting
