JOB PROFILE: Executive - Engineering (Electronics and Electrical) 1 position Department : Business Division HYDROGEN Engineering Ador Powertron Limited Position in Company At Ramnagar Will be reporting to: Head/Leader Engineering Objective / Purpose of the DepartmentThis is a new vacancy, as we have decided to start Hydrogen Rectifier business Presently, there are no Engineers for this roll Dimensions and Quantities (describe the scale and scope of influence of the job Include quantities influenced by a) the department & b) the individual directly eg.
sales/income, geographical area, number of products, number of clients, direct reports, budget authority etc) Scope Key Activities / Accountabilities The person in this roll will be responsible for following Key activities & accountabilities: 1) Design, Development, Drawings n Documentation work related to Hydrogen Rectifier projects The objects covered are - Design of SMPS/Converter - as per project requirement including creating circuit Schematic, wiring diagrams, connection schemes, selection of all the components, BOM generation - Design calculations as required For Mosfet/IGBT selection and other power components like heatsink, fuses, copper/aluminum cables/busbars, power switchgear items etc - Forced cooling/water cooling calculations and selection of required components - Creating all the project related drawings & documents like - wiring diagrams, BOM, Job orders, Instruction manuals, Test formats, QA plans 2) Support, Guidance & Co-ordination with all the other departments Marketing, Production, FIT, Purchase, Stores, Vendors, Suppliers as well as Consultants as & when required.
3) Ensuring & following the Engineering processes including QMS processes 4) Site visits for surveys, installations, technical discussions 5) Working out the Design & costing for various Tenders, Inquiries, RFP's etc for various projects 6) Working on ERP system for generating the BOM and Job cards etc Essential Educational & Experience Qualification
- The candidate should be BE Electronics with relevant experience of min 6-8 yrs or more in Power Electronic equipment designs related to AC-DC converter, DC-DC Converter, Inverters, Drives etc
- Must have hands on experience in designing High Power Rectifiers (5KW and above rating), selection of different devices, components available in Market
- Must have hands on experience on various SMPS topologies, AC to DC and DC to DC Converters, thermal calculations, Filter design, IGBT/MOSFET and it's Driver selection as well as key component's parameter design and selections.
- Understanding of simulation tools used for various SMPS topologies And compare results with design calculation and actual results
- Must have knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and mitigation
- Must be able to design the required Control scheme incorporating various types of controls, PLC/PC based systems, SCADA systems etc
- Must have thorough knowledge of Design aspects of Magnetic components
Preferred Knowledge and competencies 1) He should have a hands-on experience or at least knowledge of working on Design-Developments & Drawing-documentation work of items as mentioned above or similar.
2) He should have work experience on Design, Development layouts of cabinets etcNecessary Technical / Functional Skills 1) He must have experience of working on drawing software AutoCAD, Eplan 2) Shall have knowledge of working on PC with Windows OS, MS office, Email & other PC programs 3) Shall have exposure & knowledge of various International & Indian standards those are relevant to above products & components Or at least he must be able to interpret the standards & their applicability to the product 4) Should be competent to operate & work on various types of printers used in office Required Behavioural Competencies (refer to or attach the relevant Company/Divisional competencies description for this role as applicable) 1) The candidate will adhere to & follow the rules & regulations of APL 2) He shall be punctual in attendance 3) Must be suitable & stable to work for a long tenure 4) Shall have good conduct & behavioral attributes.
