As a Field Service Engineer- Subsea production systems, you will be responsible for:Providing the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment usedOperating, Installing or maintenance of company and customer equipment (Wellheads, Valves, Production trees, Chokes, etc).
Preplanning including all logistics, tooling, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), & technical work scopes applicable to assignmentsUndertaking inventory control of necessary Baker Hughes Subsea related equipment/toolCoordinating the clean up, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next jobFollowing and executing Operating Service Procedures (OSP) and Project related Procedures (PRP).
Assisting with Control, Function test, Repair and reporting of necessary maintenance of delivered or rented equipmentAssisting and performing Failure investigations, review of NPT occurrence, stack-up testingEnsuring the daily Operation Report is updated and handover to relevant offshore personnel.
Complying with & promote Company and Regulatory HSE requirements and procedures and Quality Management systemsWorking onshore when requested by Field Service SupervisorFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Bachelor's degree or a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent level of educationDemonstrate good knowledge working on subsea production systems and familiar with Offshore Installation processes.
Be a natural, proactive communicator with good customer service skillsHave 5-6 year's of relevant experienceHave a Mechanical / Hydraulic apprenticeship with significant offshore experience in a Subsea environmentBe able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills along with interpersonal and leadership skillsHave experience from several Offshore Installations and with a basic knowledge of the different working routines of typical Operating companiesWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
